The Call of The Beastmen Campaign Pack introduces the Beastmen as a playable race to Total War: WARHAMMER. The Beastmen represent another successful transition from tabletop to Total War: Warhammer faction. Their horde mechanics are a refinement over Chaos, while both strategic and battlefield options reflect their inclinations towards ruthless ambushes.
Beautiful, fun, too expensive. Creative Assembly polishes the original gameplay and creates a nice and exciting mini-campaign, without taking any risk. An excellent result, overall.
This Beastmen faction DLC is a top quality product that can revitalise your TW Warhammer game. The question is, does this deep title need revitalising now or does it need it when there is a winter sale on? Completionists and fans of Warhammer will pay top dollar for this DLC, everyone else will shrug and wait until a bunch of Total Warhammer DLC comes together in a cheaper bundle.

Lazy DLC which doesn’t even deserve the hole number of the beast. Beastmen “story” campaign calls for a stronger storytelling: there is not even real conflict between Khazrak the One Eye and Boris Todbringer. They even live on the opposite corners of the map. [Sept 2016]
While the Beastmen faction itself is a great one, offering new horde mechanics and fast gameplay, the campaign is lackluster and does nothing previous expansions have not already explored - and done much better.
