Commander in the ranks. Soldier at heart. Choose a faction and deploy and command your army into massive physics-driven WWII battles to the last man standing.
Destroy everything on sight with an insane amount of units that will behave tactically.
Total Tank Simulator is a great example of a game not taking itself too seriously, and it's never less than a total blast.
Overall, Total Tank Simulator is a decent package for simulation fans who want to sit back and watch the magic happen. For those who would rather be on the front lines, you can do that here as well, just don’t expect the same experience as you would from a dedicated FPS. While deceptively simple at the outset, Total Tank Simulator is much deeper than what you might expect.
Total Tank Simulator is a super interesting mix between strategy and action in a WWII sandbox low-poly game. Negating the player any strategic RTS-like command is probably an error that we hope will be soon rectified by the dev team.
The fact that Total Tank Simulator has managed to blend together the reality of World War II with its bright maps and plastic character models is no mean feat. Although it does have its struggles, with the campaigns becoming repetitive and the game working much better in smaller playthroughs to avoid becoming tiresome, overall there's some fun to be found here. Acting best as a neat diversion from the more dour side of strategy games, Total Tank Simulator does not reach the heights set by the variety and hilarious physics of Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, but nonetheless scratches that same itch.
Total Tank Simulator fails trying to get the player into the battles it tries to simulate.
