The Sims 4 Get Together introduces Windenburg, a European-inspired World with a mix of vibrant, modern architecture and classic buildings and styles. From the charming countryside, to the bustling town square and luxurious island, Windenburg is filled with new things for your Sims to see and do. But you’re not going to be exploring these new sights alone.
As the name suggests, Get Together is all about your Sim having fun with their friends, whether they’re leading their own exclusive Clubs or exploring Windenburg. Your Sims will be able to join different Clubs, each with their own interests, personalities, and styles. They have defined behaviors that dictate how they tend to act, including how they treat other Sims, and what they do or don't like to do.
There will be a variety of Clubs waiting for your Sims when you first load up the expansion pack, but you’re also able to create and customize your own. You can set their requirements, decide what behaviors they have, choose their preferred hang outs, and even give them distinct rewards.
The Sims 4 Get Together follows Get to Work's trend of providing both worthwhile and entertaining content. Get Together goes a step further, however, by improving the core gameplay experience of gathering Sims together with the new clubs feature. In addition, the new dance and DJ traits and world of Windenburg round off a great package of content.
The Sims 4: Get Together confirm itself as another excellent expansion pack for the beloved brand, with suggestive location, new social interactions and new gameplay dynamic dedicated to clubs affiliation.
Ultimately, Get Together is a strong expansion for a pretty non-impactful base game and lifts it as a whole to the standard I would have expected in the first place.
The Sims 4: Get Together utilizes the new club system to have new experiences, ways to play, and is a great social feature. Although it is a great expansion and allows for new and exciting gameplay, it fails to bring enough to the table for new players or people looking to get back to the Sims franchise.
The amount of variety that comes with the clubs is outstanding and the developers have outdone themselves with this feature, which I believe makes it a worthwhile purchase.
The main reason to buy The Sims : Living Together is the group feature that allows multiple sims to do an activity together. Beyond that there isn't much to see and as usual the value isn't great.
Get Together will no doubt be an essential purchase to those who are fully invested in The Sims 4. But if you are looking for something to add some deep meaningful content, then save your cash.
