Fire up the Time Portal and send your Sims to their most exciting destination yet: a whole new world that exists hundreds of years in the future! While they are there, your Sims can build their Advanced Technology Skill in order to get the most out of future technology. Whether your Sims are cruising around on their hoverboard or jetpack, traveling via monorail or tube elevator, or trying out attractive futuristic hairstyles and clothing, there's a whole new world to experiment with and explore. Create and customize Plumbots with Create A Bot, add them to the household, and program them with a wide variety of trait chips that will alter their behaviors! Jump between present and future worlds at will, and experiment with how your Sims' actions in the present can have surprising effects on their own legacy, their descendants, and even the way of life for future Sims!.
The final expansion to The Sims 3 is simply very good. The idea of a future, that your Sims can shape, is really interesting. What's more, we get new skills and jobs, a ton of cool things and gadgets, dreaming and plumbots (a very good idea!). Into the Future is a product comparable to the best of the series - it is a worthy end to The Sims 3 line of games.
Both Sims veterans and newcomers should find plenty to enjoy in the final expansion for The Sims 3 series. The Sims 3 Into the Future is highly recommended for any Sims fan.
All in all, I'm impressed with The Sims 3: Into the Future. EA/Maxis packed a lot of content into its final expansion, and it ranks among my favorites for The Sims 3.
Electronic Arts and Maxis could have phoned in this last expansion pack for The Sims 3, but Into The Future is as complete and finished off as the equally strong Supernatural expansion. The wealth of new items, the introduction of Plumbots, and how well it integrates the influence of time make this downloadable content worth the price of admission.
With the opportunity for your present success to impact your future prospects, Into the Future adds some nice new elements to the Sims 3 experience. Not for those who prefer to stay in their Sims' house, this expansion is larger than you might expect for a franchise preparing their new installment.
Even though it might be aimed at a less general audience, it's a very complete expansion, that lives up to the bar set for previous episodes.
If you’re a fan of the original game you can’t obviously miss this add-on but be prepared: it lacks variety and originality.
