The King's Bird is presented as an interesting title of 2D platforms in which we will have to overcome different levels through a fun and addictive gameplay. All accompanied by a fantastic artistic style, that will catch everyone that plays it.

I wanted a bit more variation in the gameplay, but overall there is no denying that The King’s Bird is a solid platformer in a beautiful world.

The King's Bird sports an awesome art style and some very interesting gameplay mechanics; it fails to meaningfully evolve the initial concept though, ending up in a rather repetitive experience, and with some control problems too.

The King’s Bird is an utterly challenging platformer that’s perhaps, oftentimes, more frustrating than it needs to be. Further hindrance is found in its slightly unresponsive handling, together with its wildly fluctuating difficulty curve. That being said, if you can muster the perseverance and precision to see it through, you’ll find a pleasant, warm, and somewhat endearing adventure buried underneath its convolution.

The amount of time needed to master the end parts of the game seem broken and unfair. Difficult just to be known as difficult. Practice makes perfect, but if you don’t enjoy practicing then you’re bound for failure. The King’s Bird barely gets my recommendation, but enough of it was good for me to say it’s pretty decent.
