When AAAH! the dog eats a powerful magic cane the world falls into chaos. Collect items, eat or throw them, survive the reality-transforming spells and defeat your enemies in the three different modes of this crazy action RPG! Play with your friends in local co-op and pvp, up to 4 players.
Super Cane Magic ZERO is one of the strangest games I have ever played, and I strongly recommend it to everyone. Humor, love for sweets and hatred for vegetables, along with its wonderful artistic design are things that you just can't ignore easily.
This is a simplistic dungeon crawler, meant to be played with friends. If this is your case, you’ll make the most of it, but if you’re playing alone you might want to look somewhere else.
In the end, the looney atmosphere is what makes the game feel unique, and if you’re a fan of comedy where nothing makes sense, then you shouldn’t think twice about trying this title.
Even with the two questionable mechanics, one can’t deny Super Cane Magic ZERO certainly has charm. Its art direction compliments the overall quirky nature, and the meta-style humour is, at the very least, wholly memorable. For those with a big couch and with three other friends to play with, it will no doubt provide plenty of silly fun. Until we get a sequel to Castle Crashers (if ever), this just might be the next best thing.
Very solid from the point of view of the artistic direction, it enriches the playful experience with some rather numerous and interesting ideas, such as the system of "beliefs".
