The beginning of the Resident Evil Revelations 2 tale sees fan favorite Claire Redfield make a dramatic return. Survivor of the Raccoon City incident depicted in previous Resident Evil games, Claire now works for the anti-bioterrorism organization Terra Save. Moira Burton, is attending her welcome party for Terra Save when unknown armed forces storm the office.
Claire and Moira are knocked unconscious and awaken later to find themselves in a dark and abandoned detention facility. Working together, they must find out who took them and to what sinister end. With the terrifying Afflicted enemies waiting around every dark corner, players will need to use their ammo and weapon supply wisely, in classic survival horror style.
Will Claire and Moira make it out alive and discover what's led to them being taken to this remote island? Who else will they come across? A story of twists and turns will have players guessing the next step at every turn.

Revelations 2 isn’t quite a return to form for the series or anything quite so dramatic, but it’s an example of doing more with less.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 is a robust title, despite its low-budget production. The gameplay is somehow simpler, closer to the old chapters of the saga, and yet still captivating.
Revelations 2 as an episodic horror works surprisingly well, and even though it may discourage with its weak story and dialogues, the gameplay and strong content are saving the game. Replayability works here well too, so you can spend long hours playing this gruesome entertainment.

Despite obvious financial limitations the developers bent over backwards to provide us with the best game possible. Revelations 2 does not reach the level of the last three main Resident Evils, but I keep my fingers crossed for it to succeed deservedly, because it seems all these guys need to create a top-notch game is more money. Resident Evil Revelations 2, as a full game, offers a lot of content and has great replay value. Sadly not everything in this package is good, and some parts of the campaign are a bit boring. It's a good game but it's not at the same level as the first Revelations.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 must be played with a second person, preferably someone who doesn't mind having a passive support role. It's easier to appreciate the story and gameplay, which aren't half bad, when you don't have to switch between characters all the time.
