Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Pass offers a series of unlockings and benefits in Ubisoft's tactical action game. We will have access to new operators, new maps, a complete map modification and reworking and a special event for Rainbow Six Siege. This new Season Pass corresponds to the third year of the game's launch, out of a total of 4 season passes, with which we will enjoy 8 new operators, 2 new maps established in Morocco and Italy, and a map re-done with a new level of design and art style.
The third year of post-launch content begins with two new operators and the Outbreak event, grouped under the name of Operation Chimera. The first two new operators are specialists in biological risks, playable in the multiplayer event and the cooperative outbreak event. Remember that to access all this new content you need to have the base game installed in your Uplay or Steam account, depending on the version of the game you have.
Also, remember that this product does not include the base set and must be purchased separately.
Rainbow Six Siege Year 3 Pass is also available on PS4 & XBox One.
Rainbow Six Siege is an accessible and deeply satisfying shooter that rewards planning and teamwork over a quick trigger finger.
An excellent and innovative breath of fresh air. The more I play, the more I like. I hope this is new role model for shooters to come. [Jan 2016]
Multiplayer is the key word for this game, because you will gain nothing from Siege if you are looking for a single player experience.
Although the single-player side of the game is weak, Rainbow Six: Siege's multiplayer modes are a huge amount of fun. Tense, thoughtful, and tactical, they play very differently to most run-and-gun shooters. While the game's content does feel a little slim at launch, there's no denying it's highly enjoyable to play - especially when you have a team of players working together.
My time with Siege leaves me feeling like this Rainbow Six revival is a skeleton with not a lot of meat on its bones.
Rainbow Six Siege delivers on its promise of tension, tactics and teamwork, but it might not be worth AU$70; there are bugs both big and small that need squashing, there's no server browser, and connection errors are too common. There's something else to consider, too: PC players have been abandoning multiplayer-only titles in record time this year.
Rainbow Six Siege‘s core concept, namely its destructible world and reliance on communication-based strategy, is strong, but everything surrounding it seems to falter.
