PES 2018 embraces the world of eSports with new integration of PES League across Online modes, including a new 3v3 competitive mode allowing users to join forces to win big prizes. This, alongside bringing the PC version to a level that meets the quality standard of its PS4 counterpart, only scratches the surface of the significant changes to PES 2018. The Super 7 - Legendary changes coming to PES 2018: Gameplay Masterclass – The world renowned gameplay quality has been finely tuned and refined to recreate the authenticity of the beautiful game, including a more realistic game pace.
Strategic Dribbling gives the user significantly more control in possession, with the addition of contextual shielding to protect the ball, as well as simple stick controls triggering realistic, subtle movements to wrong foot defenders. Real Touch+ adds a new dimension to ball control, with full body touch allowing various parts of the body to control the ball based on the unpredictability of the ball movement. Set pieces have been reworked with a new FK and PK system, alongside the option to choose the new one player kick off.

New Modes & Features – The fan favourite Random Selection Match returns with new presentation and features. Experience life as manager in Master League with pre-season tournaments, an improved transfer system and new presentation elements, including pre-match interviews and locker room scenes.

Players have been motion captured in equally realistic environments, allowing for a complete rework of the animation system, starting with core movement such as walking, turning and body posture.
Additionally, player models have been completely changed, with special attention paid to kit fitting and short size. Players photo scanned from partner teams will receive full body tattoos, including Marco Reus, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Philippe Coutinho and Neymar Jr. Signigicant PC Improvments - PC Steam version undergoes substantial enhancements in graphics and content, meeting quality standards and ensuring parity across all current gen platforms.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 - PES 2018 is also available on PC & PS4.
Konami have upped their game again. Your move EA.
PES 2018 is the confirmation that the franchise of Konami is evolving into the total football, with a gameplay that captures amazingly the details of this sport, and where the stars, the players, are astonishing real with a photorealistic style. It's a shame the lack of licenses, but if you really care about soccer, PES 2018 should be your bet this season.
PES 2018 reaffirms Konami's series as a great tactical soccer sim, with further enhancements in realism and the welcome addition of online co-op. It doesn't feel like a drastic advancement compared to last year's game, and the defense lines ended up being weirdly weakened.
PES 2018 has some failures, lack licenses or new game modes, but its gameplay is brilliant and that's the important thing. At the end, we have an excellent football game. If you are a football lover, PES 2018 is a great choice.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2018's gameplay offers an exceptional and authentic experience. It’s not a massive jump forward, but this year’s new additions and gameplay tweaks do a good job of refining what made last year’s game so good. Sadly, all the good work on the pitch is let down by tired and dated looking menus, game modes that are desperately in need of some innovation, shockingly bad commentary and the continued lack of licenses. It's a solid jumping-on point if you're new to the series, but seasoned veterans may find too few improvements to justify the price.
PES 2018 is a solid football experience but realism on the pitch can't make up for the lack of added value, general innovation, licenses and design flaws forever. The clock is ticking and PES is evolving too slowly by today standards.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 is one of the most solid (yet least flashy) sports sims on the market. Every year, PES seems to further carve out its own identity and plant a flag for players who want a deeper, less forgiving, and yet somehow more familiar soccer-playing experience. Everything in PES 2018 is earned, and while some of it still could use some polish, it continues to take steps forward. How long it can withstand the tidal wave of FIFA’s recent successes and licensing dominance, however, remains to be seen.
