OUTLAST 2 is the sequel to the acclaimed survival horror game Outlast. Set in the same universe as the first game, but with different characters and a different setting, OUTLAST 2 NINTENDO SWITCH is a twisted new journey into the depths of the human mind and its dark secrets. No conflict is ever black and white.
But once the dust has settled, the victors get to decide who was right and who was wrong. Who is good and who is evil. Human nature pushes us to extremes of violence and depravity, which we then justify by divine inspiration and a promise of paradise to come.
Horror rises from desperation and blind faith. OUTLAST 2 will test your faith, pushing players to a place where going mad is the only sane thing to do.
Required title for anyone who played the first Outlast or who just loves Survivor Horror.
Outlast 2 on Nintendo Switch is pretty amazing. It looks almost as good as its console and PC counterparts, runs very well despite not being 60 frames-per-second, and the new Story Mode difficulty gives you more room to explore.
Outlast 2 brings pure fear on Nintendo Switch, with a solid and effective porting.
Outlast 2 on Switch is a great way to tackle what is one of the scariest horror games I’ve played in recent memory. The port is excellent, only marred by some inconsistencies seen in the game itself — horror fans should definitely check this one out.
Quotation forthcoming.
Outlast II is one of the best looking games on Switch that uses a realistic art style. It’s a showcase of what the hardware is capable of. The game’s story is a wild ride, its setting is terrifying, and there are tons of intense moments as you try to escape from murderous cult members and gut-wrenchingly scary humanoid enemies that are around every corner. I would consider it a must play if you’re a fan of horror games.
Outlast 2 does not quite reach even the average moments of the first game. However, what saves this is Red Barrels' talented artists and voice actors.
