Developed by the famed Japanese studio Spike Chunsoft Co. , Ltd; ONE PIECE: Burning Blood is built upon the wacky and rich ONE PIECE universe and will offer a never-seen-before experience thanks to the fast-paced gameplay and unique ONE PIECE elements! Speaking of which, Logia Demon Fruits and “Haki” can be used to throw massive special moves and take down the fiercest opponents! Stay tuned for more reveals. Features: A FAST-PACED FIGHTING GAME.
The long awaited pure fighting-game based on the ONE PIECE universe is here! DEVIL FRUIT/HAKI ABILITIES.
A fun game for the fans who want to relive one of the most exciting arcs of the One Piece franchise. Lack of difficulty and appeal to those outside of the fandom and complex mechanics that can be easily forgotten unfortunately limit the player base. However with a variety of game modes that’ll have players coming back for more, this is a must play for the fans.
One Piece Burning Blood is an enjoyable fighting game that will delight fans of the series from beginning to end. There is a lot of fan service, awesome art and great music, but the mechanics lack polish and identity giving fans the sensation of playing just another anime fighting game.
A good take on One Piece with a solid but very simple fighting game. A good fan-service for everyone who loves Luffy and his friends.
One Piece: Burning Blood is a decent start for a 3D brawler series that can only be improved from now on.
Visually, this game is right up there with some of CyberConnect2's successful Naruto games, too bad the gameplay didn't follow suit.
Fans of One Piece might find something to enjoy in One Piece: Burning Blood, but newcomers will be totally lost.
While One Piece: Burning Blood may look pretty, offer some nice content and a bizarre cast (including a cross dressing pirate based on Rocky Horror Picture Show’s Frank N Furter), it wasn’t enough to keep me interested. I can’t even imagine fans of the anime would get much out of this release, especially as this is just the latest entry in a long line of games based on this franchise.
