LEGO The Incredibles, a new video game where players take control of their favourite Incredibles characters in unforgettable scenes and action sequences from both Disney Pixar films, The Incredibles and the upcoming The Incredibles 2. The game encourages players to work together by combining the Parr family's abilities and unique powers to conquer crime and family life in a LEGO world full of fun and humour. With LEGO The Incredibles XBOX ONE, fans can experience the non-stop action from both movies while fighting crime together as a super hero family.
In LEGO The Incredibles, players explore action-packed story levels and an epic hub world, including Municiberg and New Urbem, as they use their unique super abilities to bring the city's villains to justice.
LEGO The Incredibles is also available on PC, PS4 & Nintendo Switch.
LEGO The Incredibles exceeded my expectations, as it contains a lot of fun to be had, plenty of variety throughout the levels and a dose of humour when needed. The roster is jam packed with exciting characters that possess every single ability you can think of, and the bonus Pixar ones are the icing on the cake.
The game keeps delivering the usual quality of the Disney movies based IP, even if The Incredibles is not one of their most successful franchises. The game is mostly enjoyable and has the typical sense of humor made in LEGO.
LEGO The Incredibles is very easy to recommend if, and only if, you’ve not grown tired of the tried and tested LEGO formula. The game doesn’t do much to evolve or build upon the foundation that we’ve endured time and time again. However, with that being said, there’s no denying that LEGO The Incredibles packs a great deal of action-packed content across its exciting story and its sprawling world hubs.
With the shortest roster of LEGO games in recent years, and based on a franchise which is probably the less popular of all seen in Traveller’s Tale games, this game works well only as a product for The Incredibles fans. The rest of us had better wait for DC Villians to fill the gap.
Fantastic music and a few new features make this LEGO game good, not great. [Sept 2018, p.78]
The Incredibles makes its debut in LEGO form with this one, and that alone should entice anyone who is enthused for either brand. The bugs are annoying and the voice acting is just about as bad sometimes, but the open world crimefighting, Pixar cameos, and perfect pairing of these two brands makes LEGO The Incredibles a fun family game, even if it's not quite super.
Never surprising, LEGO The Incredibles is repetitive and the building mechanics are now dusty, to say the least. But there are 8 playable characters and they are all very different, making it a fun game especially in co-op.
