Killing Room is one of those crazy games that we can currently find in Steam where every player has the option of letting their audience vote for their reward or punishment. The voting is real-time and allows streamers to take their program to the next level. Viewers have the opportunity to directly influence the gameplay of their favorite streamers.
Killing Room PC is a shooter in first person but with nuances typical of roguelike. We will be one of the participants of a reality show in the mid-twentieth century, whose society lives for and by this television program. In most cases participants die during the program, but we will try to survive no matter what the cost.
For this difficult mission, our character will have endless weapons of all kinds. Â If we had to define this game with three basic concepts, it would be permanent death, random generation of maps and very high difficulty.
Killing Room's onscreen murderhouse makes for a challenging roguelike shooter, and its reality-TV slant injects the sadistic premise with a welcome touch of humour; even if it routinely finds itself punctured by irksome design details and patchy technical performance.
Killing Room certainly has some interesting surprises up its sleeve when it comes to gameplay innovation, the enemies are creative and the item descriptions are usually funny yet the rest of the game just feels average in comparison and does little to nothing else to stand out from the crowd.
