Halo: Reach* comes to PC as the first episode of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Now optimized for PC, experience the heroic story of Noble Team, a group of Spartans, who through great sacrifice and courage, saved countless lives in the face of impossible odds. The planet Reach is humanity’s last line of defense between the encroaching Covenant and their ultimate goal, the destruction of Earth.
If it falls, humanity will be pushed to the brink of destruction.
A stellar PC port that uplifts the original's high-quality single-player and multiplayer content with advanced graphics options and solid matchmaking.
Though not perfect, Halo: Reach's PC port is overall well-done, and the quality should excite fans about the other Halo games coming to the platform in the future.
The excellent conversion work done by the team of 343 Industries brings a technical section to the screen without significant failure, except for a couple of stumbles that will probably be corrected here shortly, and offers the videogame audience an excellent port, for a title which undoubtedly deserves to be rediscovered.
If you never experience the impressive story of Halo franchise, Halo Reach is the very first step, and it runs smoothly on PC platform. However,it is such a pity that the Forge and Theater mode are pending, the game still needs some time to renovate.
Quotation forthcoming.
Forget the campaign - multiplayer is where it’s at. Impeccably balanced, ludicrously varied, and damn near perfect.
Halo: Reach has an engaging campaign and numerous multiplayer game modes to keep you pre-occupied. Unfortunately, various issues abound from technical woes and lack of options, to matchmaking problems, and it's hardly what you'd expect from the flagship FPS franchise's arrival on PCs. Like the protagonist's namesake, this effort is more of a "six" unless we see more patches down the line.
