Flockers is a modern day take on the classic A to B puzzle genre with a generous helping of sinister foreboding and dark humour for good measure. Levels have been designed to challenge the player’s skill and strategic planning as they attempt to guide their flock past heinous traps, sadistic devices and diabolical puzzles; rewarding those that can save the most sheep while still allowing progression for anyone who falls foul of the factory’s deadly machinery.
Flockers is a nice and extremely addictive puzzle game. It's not extremely innovative, but it's got a lot of personality and lots of fun.
Even if it's just a nicer version of Lemmings at the end of the day, Flockers at least isn't trying to pull the wool over your eyes. It's baarilliant.
It’s for the thinkers; the true appreciators of fine-tuned designs and engaging puzzle solving. It’s a satisfying, refreshing and, most importantly, an incredibly fun romp through Team17’s take on a classic.
If you're a fan of the Worms franchise, Flockers will deliver many hours of the same beloved gameplay along with lots of laughs.
Flockers is a great idea for a puzzle game, but it suffers from a lack of polish and some poor design choices.
Puzzles lack variety, and each of them is a one-shot challenge. It’s easy to arrive at a solution by simply scanning a level and launching the flock a couple of times. The execution is just a matter of careful timing.
Flockers tried to be the new Lemmings but failed in all aspects. It looks good but plays stupid. [Issue#245]
