Despite what you could think at first glance, this is mostly an unforgiving action game, with some interesting ideas that require skill and improvisational abilities from the player. It doesn't always work perfectly, though, and it's a bit on the short side.

Feist is an intense, challenging and captivating action platform but it's too short and lacks some balance.

Ori is a massive game with so many levels and areas to go through, while Feist ends relatively quickly.

It establishes an eerie mood, making you feel vulnerable to what lurks in the shadows. It just gets hung up in awkward moments at times.

Feist is a charming dark adventure that unquestionably draws its inspiration from Limbo. Even though it has its merits with its concrete gameplay and nice artistic direction, it nevertheless cannot achieve greatness due to its short length and the insufficient variety of environments, enemies and environmental dangers.

The game’s insistence on minimalism gives it an elegance but, conversely, it also gets in the way.

Hedgehogs, mosquitoes, caves, rocks, jumping over branches, but no mechanism you would say "yes, it is a great thing that can make a good game." So again: As a mobile game for a few Euros - why not. But as a desktop game? Waste of time that you can spend with better pieces. I named a few of them, so if you have not played them yet, go try them.
