Like its predecessor, Fantasy General 2 captivates from the first mission.
This is thoroughly entertaining, surprisingly well conceived fantasy tactics with a focus on depth. This is a breath of fresh air that doesn’t rely on the typical rock-paper-scissors mechanics.
Fantasy General 2 worth its predecessor, both for what concerns the gameplay on the battlefield, and for the really high difficulty.
Fantasy General II brings some modern additions to a tried and true formula in an engaging and challenging campaign. Overall - a great success.
Fantasy General II is a true wargame, a tribute to the past but with a modern feeling.
