Vive la France ! is a large map expansion add-on for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Make your way through broad boulevards of industrial cities and narrow streets of rural hamlets. Enjoy French outdoors with its diverse looks and disparate vegetation from north to south.
Discover famous landmarks, deliver to expansive industrial areas, navigate complex intersections and interchanges, enjoy visually unique roundabouts inspired by real locations. Transport a variety of new cargo to service new local French companies as well as connecting the region to the rest of Europe.
Driving around cities that I've already driven through in real life and with such detail put a huge smile on my face.
The magic is back in the world of Euro Truck Simulator 2. Vive la France! has some visual flaws and a mediocre traffic system but is definitely worth its price tag. We get many new locations, thousands of kilometers of roads, new suppliers, new merchandise and some really pretty French countryside views. Apparently ETS2 is going to live a very long and successful life.
Like all previous DLC Vive la France! is also very good add-on, which offers many hours of entertainment on countless kilometers of new roads.
The largest country of all available in ETS2 at last is as vast and varied as it should be, thanks to 20.000 kilometers of new roads and 15 new cities. [02/2017, p.55]
The sim itself is quite solid… it’s ridiculous how pleasant it can be to get out on the open road with your cargo behind you and just drive. But what really makes it great fun is the radio stations. As with previous iterations you can chose to put your own music in the game and have that as your radio mix… or (and really why do anything else?) you can switch between the preinstalled streaming radio stations.
