Euro Truck Simulator 2 Beyond the Baltic Sea is the latest DLC for the successful transport and freight truck driving simulator with which we will travel through huge locations across Europe fulfilling deliveries and missions with a special emphasis on driving realism. This new expansion will include maps of the three Baltic States: Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, as well as southern Finland and parts of Russia, including Russia's second largest city, St. Petersburg.
An expansion that further enhances the extent to which we will be able to travel behind the wheel of our transport vehicles. Do not forget that this product is an expansion, so it is necessary to have the base set installed in the Steam account, which is not included with this product and must be purchased separately.
Overall, SCS Software has outdone themselves with this DLC expansion for ETS, as they have with all of their map addition DLCs. From the attention to detail to the amount of roads they have added, along with all the companies and all sorts of new cargo and trailers, Beyond the Baltic Sea has it all. SCS truly is one of the best developers in terms of content added and issues fixed, taking care of a game that's already seen its seventh birthday.
In terms of new content this is arguably the most impressive ETS2 expansion to date, richer than Italia we enjoyed a year ago. It might just be a game about delivering cargo from point A to point B, but along the way it shows how stunningly diverse The Old Continent is in terms of both landscapes and architecture – and over 30 completely new cities introduced in Beyond the Baltic Sea are delightfully Eastern European.
