DreamBreak is an adventure set in an alternative post cold war USSR. A quirky and unique mix of clashing gameplay genres. Get fingered for murder in Soviet Russia without actually going there!.
DreamBreak is a reasonably priced little gem and a must-buy proposal. It's really hard to rate a game like this when the duration of the whole action is so short. With a longer gameplay of 3 or 4 hours it would be a classic.
DreamBreak is a short, relatively easy trip down memory lane for anyone who grew up playing point-and-click adventure games. While it has plenty of rough edges and won’t hold your attention for much longer than the end credits, it’s a good game to play through in an afternoon, with well-designed puzzles and surprisingly engaging combat. Just be warned that there are a lot of bugs near the end.
Good game to your collection if you're a fan of the indie scene and you enjoy watching unusual, but well developed, pieces. Most players, however, probably will soon forget what it was all about. [Issue#266]
Dreambreak may look pretty on the outside, but peeling back its pixelated style and impressive music reveals the dull story, flat characters, lack of substance and clunky gameplay within.
A collection of horrendously bad mini-games, hastily glued together by an asinine story.
