Meet Bob, a cute DragoDino, and guide him through the 10 levels of the Forest Kingdom in a quest to recover his lost egg stuck atop a giant tree. Explore and fight enemies to reach ever higher, collecting powers on your way up to help you in your quest. But be careful, the guardians you'll meet won't let you through that easily.
Mix and match power ups, play as various DragoDino NINTENDO SWITCHs, taking advantage of each one's abilities. Enjoy 2 difficulty modes, plus a free mode to practice and improve. In solo or in co-op, rise to the challenge.
DragoDino is an amazing 2D platformer held back by a broken health system and unacceptable load times. Besides these problems, the game is a pleasure to explore or run through. The visuals are charming and there is lots of opportunity to try different power-ups and items to see how they impact how you play. Plus, you can play through split-screen with a friend, which is a nice addition. This is a unique game that is definitely worth sinking some hours into to completely enjoy all that it has to offer.
The characters available in different colour palettes are appealing and I’m sure add a lot if playing with another person, but this brings me to the biggest issue that plagues DragoDino; the loading times. When they did load, the levels themselves offered little to no joy, at all, despite the cute protagonists, DragoDino is shallow and sadly cannot live up to the visual style.
Drago Dino is a game that hardly works and even when it manages to get past a loading screen the gameplay offered is poorly executed and not enjoyable.
