Your company is going global. Use big machines to demolish huge buildings or go close and personal and use your hammer. Buy land properties, upgrade your machines and hire workers in different parts of the world.
Demolish & Build offers four huge locations in which we can construct or destroy buildings. We play as an owner of a construction-destruction company and our employees can use various tools such as hammers but they can also use smaller or bigger machines such as diggers, bulldozers, cranes or a remote controlled robot that can work in the most harsh conditions, inaccessible and dangerous places.
Demolish and Build is enjoyable once you get a ways into it, but the early going can get pretty repetitive once you've gutted your second saloon and third gas station. Overall, though, it has a bit of a charm to it as you try to improve your company's rank and expand your business.
Demolish and Build may have its issues, but the game can be enjoyed on many different levels. Fun and creativity can be found in this title, and it’s good to see some more simulators of this calibre to come to Xbox.
Demolish and Build has its heart in the right place but could also use another passthrough so that its expectations and instructions are clear and concise. A game that gives you reign to blow a bulldozer into the side of a building should be fun but the tedium, wishy-washy controls, and poor guidance turn the game into a test of patience.
It’ll probably appeal to sim fans who love the working grind and aren’t bothered by dodgy visuals, terrible sound effects and a strangely empty world. But that said, you can drive a bulldozer straight through a casino while rocking out. And honestly, do you need next-gen visuals for that?
