Grab your rifle and make those bullets count. Head back to the Second World War where combat was brutal, unforgiving, and required extensive teamwork. In this competitive FPS, players need to fall back on their marksmanship, skill, map awareness and tactical cunning.
Like in true WW2 warfare, combat in Days of War is brutal, unforgiving and requires extensive teamwork.
The long awaited final version of Days of War is richer and better than the Early Access alpha, but still feels far from finished.
Days of War lacks refinement and uniqueness, but it may be fun and the map editor is an interesting value.
Days of War tries to be Day of Defeat or Call of Duty 2. It falls short of both, hobbled as it is by a myriad of tiny issues that combine into a lackluster whole.
Days of war is a rather conventional first-person shooter, focused on online multiplayer. Its old-fashioned aesthetic, a tried and tested formula and the limited contents prevent it to shine in the genre, despite an enjoyable gunplay.
The point of this game is to keep a good community of players and servers well filled. Unfortunately it lacks quality to get and keep that community.
Sadly, Days of War feels like its developers tried and failed to reach a bridge too far, and that’s a real shame.
