With this new release, the action rises to a higher level with the addition of exo suits that will give our characters over human capabilities. The Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Atlus Limited Edition includes a huge array of digital and physical content, designed to create a unique gaming experience for the fans of the series: An extra multiplayer map called Atlas Gorge, a Pipeline reinvention, the popular Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare map. A package Atlas digital content, which includes: Two unique weapons, assault rifle BAL-27 and Atlas 45 AE AE pistol, decorated with the color scheme of the Atlas Corporation.
The Atlas exoskeleton, which is a custom exoskeleton white, red and black, very impressive visually. A custom helmet Atlas. Atlas player card with a custom emblem.
Five additional supplies, which unlocks a variety of game content from character customization to weapons. Exoskeleton improvements in single player mode. A manual of advanced soldier with tactical information and strategies.
An exclusive steelbook, which is a metal cover for the limited edition game with premium design. And as you would expect, plus the huge amount of content that brings this edition, also includes the official soundtrack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The franchise world's most popular shooters video game returns to the fray with a lot of developments and additions, which will provide a reinvention of the CoD series adapted to the next generation consoles.
Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Atlas Limited Edition is also available on PS4.
Advanced Warfare is already legendary. Boosting is awesome, mind-blowing and fits the game like a latex glove. I pity Treyarch, who'll have to pull out all stops to surpass this one.
Boasting the tightest multiplayer of the series and one of the strongest campaigns, Advanced Warfare proves that Call of Duty is here to stay — and it’s welcome.
Advanced Warfare is Call of Duty’s true starting point for a new generation.
Multiplayer feels wonderfully fresh, thanks to the added agility of Exo Suit boosting. Sadly, though, co-op is unimaginative, and the story fails to satisfy when compared to previous installments.
Advanced Warfare is still Call of Duty, but it's more playful, knowing and refreshing than COD's been in years. [Christmas 2014, p.112]
Satisfying fans is one thing, but this one subverted my skepticism and brought me back.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare upholds the status quo and aims no higher than that. Its sci-fi trappings are but shallow appeals to progress, and while the multiplayer is still able to provide some entertainment, the CoD formula feels anything but "advanced" these days.
