BioShock The Collection is also available on PS4 & XBox One.
While the games in their entirety truly stand the test of time, still show that they got âitâ and (at least on consoles) have never looked this good, the bonus content could be more plentiful.
High definition textures do a solid job of re-introducing one of gamingâs enduring masterpieces to a younger generation of gamers. Whilst not providing adequate incentive to re-purchase for gamers who already own these time capsule titles, Bioshock: The Collection makes an ideal gift for introducing someone to the magical and never ending journey of PC Gaming.
BioShock: The Collection is the perfect edition for who haven't played any BioShock in the past.
Bioshock: The Collection is essential if you never played these games. For those who have, there's little new to find here.
A more than good porting.
The collection of all Bioshock games isn't a bad remaster, but neither is it an outstanding one. For the console crowd itâs a worthy addition to their collection, but for PC players it doesn't offer a big enough improvement.
A huge disappointment. I can recommend The Collection only to those who never played the original games, because the quality of the remasters does not justify paying for them again (even old bugs were left intact!). [12/2016, p.57]
