'Ethan: Meteor Hunter' is a single-player genre mixing game that blends the very best of platform- and puzzle-gaming. The game features Ethan, a rat with an attitude, who was hit on the head by a meteorite giving him supernatural powers! You, yes you, must guide our rodent hero through 50 levels of challenging fun across 3 unique worlds. Getting struck by space trash does have its advantages! For example, our hero has the power of telekinesis and the ability to freeze time, enabling him to move objects around while the world is on hold; a truly unique feature you will need to overcome a number of difficult puzzles and obstacles.

Ethan: Meteor Hunter is an atypical platform game. Mixing a classic platformer with distinctive elements has definitely been a good idea. The game is difficult, but the level design is extremely good and the game worth its small price.
If you like this kind of games, especially those harder than the average puzzle/platformer, it well deserves a try. However, it fails to show any outstanding feature.
Ethan: Meteor Hunter has good ideas, but it lacks variety of challenges and its control is imprecise.
It could be a great cheesy robbery, if the ideas were not stolen from the competition. Ethan: Meteor Hunter is a solid platformer, but it lacks the character and exceptionality.
Disappointingly, there are too few great platformers we may still talk about in five years. Ethan: Meteor Hunter is no such title in that regard. There are simply no features to be found that really make the game stand out in a good way. Aside of that, the high level of repetition makes Ethan's adventure become boring really fast. It's like the little mouse is looking for his place in this world, but will likely never succeed on doing so.
