Create your own theme park just the way you want it. Let your imagination run wild! Attract visitors to your park with all kinds of different and unusual attractions. Your revenue and the reactions of your visitors help you to expand your park and make it even more attractive.
Adventure Park provides a fun way to try your hand at creating a theme park, but that's only half of it - you have to manage it too. It's quick and easy to learn, and probably somewhat educational as well.
On the surface everything seems to work, but the deeper you look, you’ll find that there is just nothing there. But the trip into the Adventure Park was good for something: It made me install Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 again.
The artificial intelligence of the Adventure Park's customers gives exactly the value of the game itself. Don't buy it.
If you’re into in-depth management of a park then Adventure Park may be for you, but for everyone else the design problems, unattractive menus, misplaced priorities, and numerous other flaws adds up to a tedious experience. Worst of all though, Adventure Park is bland, lifeless and lacking in both character and imagination.
When playing around in free-play, not worrying too much about the needs of your brain-dead guests, Adventure Park can at least prove to be entertaining. Unfortunately, it’s just impossible to play it – with all of its flaws – and not think about the vastly superior amusement park sims of yesteryear.
The sandbox mode is the only thing that keeps Adventure Park from being total hot garbage. Unfortunately, cheating the economy doesn’t make the broken mechanics, lack of content or dismal performance any less rotten. If you’re in the market for a game like this, you’re best off sticking with the classics.
