The Watchmaker is an action adventure set in a strange steampunk world of giant clock mechanisms, where time has gone mad. Join Alexander, a clock tower keeper, on his quest to restore time to its natural rhythm!.
The Watchmaker offers a lot of very good and challenging puzzles for the fans to enjoy. But its level-design is average at best, and we’re still wondering why is there any fights in this game.
Although my own experience with this game has been a profoundly negative one, I can’t completely condemn it. After all, the graphics are delightful and the premise is an engrossing one.
A tale of the almighty power of time, The Watchmaker is reminiscent of Portal in its humor and scientific focus. Playing will prompt reflection and evoke emotion, but deficiencies include narrative, level design, and puzzles.
