SEA OF THIEVES is the latest Microsfot title, a MMORPG set in a pirate world where we can do all the typical pirate actions: Pirate and plunder other ships, go out in search of secret islands full of treasures, create a crew and fight against other pirates in intense PVP battles and endless other things. The game is available for both Xbox One and PC through Microsoft's backward compatibility system, so this version of the DLC is compatible for both PC and Xbox One. Remember that for PC it is necessary to have the Windows 10 operating system installed.
This DLC will grant us the following: Mercenary Pistol, Mercenary Cutlass, Mercenary Compass and Mercenary Outfit. The Mercenary Pack will automatically download after you redeem the code in your Microsoft account and install the game. Once redeemed, items will appear in the game, but not in your inventory, so you'll need to find them.
We will need to find the specific merchant who will have all the bonus items available.
Sea of Thieves has successfully redeemed its clumsy launch with Rare being a developer that fully commits to the title with monthly updates for more than two years. Now – it is a game brimming with content, adventure and gorgeous pirate atmosphere with arguably being the best pirate game available and a truly fun multiplayer experience.
Sea of Thieves feels a little thin, but its unique foundation has captured our imagination.
An audiovisual masterpiece (that water!) which does a decent job at concealing its repetitiveness and shortage of content behind the joy of being a pirate. [05/2018, p.70]
Sea of Thieves has provided some of my favorite gaming moments this year, but the repetitive voyages and reliance on currently infrequent player encounters to keep things interesting mean the seas are a bit shallower than you might expect in a full-price game.
Sea of Thieves has fresh and great ideas that work well. However, due to very repetitive missions, a lack of content and a poor end-game, this game turns into a tedious one after only a few hours.
I really want to love Sea of Thieves. The beautiful pirate world and the exciting sea battles you experience from time to time. But I can't do it. There isn't enough content and the lack of progression makes it an unsatisfying game.
As it stands right now, Sea of Thieves is an empty playground of wasted potential that requires too much investment from the player with too little in return.
