Kartong Death by Cardboard is a shooter in which we will be shrunk to a little over 10 cm and in which combines the beauty of scary toys with the charm of paper clippings, and all in a twisted world represented by a miniature cardboard city. You are caught against your will in the deadly city of Kartong, with your whole life depending on a mediocre weapon made with office supplies and where every game will drastically change the entire city. A city of madness with many levels of difficulty and many challenges in which we must demonstrate our survival skills.
A lot of weapons created with everyday pieces, an immersive atmosphere and a lot of madness are just some of the strong points of this title. Add to this the fact that you need virtual reality goggles to get the most out of it, and the result is a frenetic and terrifying game. To learn more about devices supported by this title, please read Steam's section on virtual reality device support carefully.
There are points when Kartong – Death by Cardboard can feel repetitious and samey, constantly running around cardboard mazes, either hiding in sheer terror or barrelling in, your pin loaded crossbow at the ready. Yet this dark, twisted fantasy world has a charm all of its own, both equally scary and wondrous at the same time.
