A stylish blend of deck-building, turn-based tactics, and thrilling animated fight sequences in classic action-movie settings. Learn to balance your hand, momentum, and positioning to overcome the odds to defeat your adversaries. Build your deck, control the space and live to fight another day.
The turn based system is clever. But the lack of progress in the roguelike campaign drags the motivation down. [Early Access Score = B]
While the additional content is certainly welcomed, there's so much already here that you'd be forgiven assuming the game wasn't in Early Access. The core pillars that prop up its distinct premise are sound enough that playing through Fights in Tight Spaces tickles all the right strategy parts of the brain, providing satisfying victories when you've thought out your options just right. The additional development time afforded by Early Access could help smooth out some of the rough edges, making the future of this tactical deck-builder one to look out for. [Early Access Score = 70]
It’s all looking extremely promising. Not even ‘promising as it continues through Early Access’, but ‘promising to eat up a ton of my time in its current state’. The whole thing already sounds and looks great – all moody electro and sleek corporate logos battering each other – and runs flawlessly, too. Well worth a gander, if you’re at all curious about the most efficient way to ram someone’s face into a table. [Early Access Review]
