Jet Kave Adventure is a fine platformer, but it’s rarely more than that. It looks very nice for the most part, and the sense of humour is rather endearing, but the gameplay is fairly basic and often misses the opportunity to take it a couple of extra steps to make it memorable and exciting. It has some genuinely fun moments, though, and may be worth a punt if you’re a big fan of classic platformers.

Jet Kave Adventure is a fun romp through a prehistoric world, and the contrast between that and the strange alien technology that Kave finds really makes it that much more memorable and worth exploring. There are definitely some issues with combat, namely just how simple and easy it continuously feels, but the overall charm does a great job of making up for those problems. Jet Kave Adventure is a great choice for any fans of retro platforming games.

Jet Kave Adventure's controls and gameplay are polished and fun to play, but the game is lacking in the content and level design departments, making it a bit frustrating, not in a good way.
