It's 2020, and instagram, tiktok, and other social media platforms are where young people spend their day. Lion castle brought all the leading influence and role models of many countries together, reimagined them into Fortnite style visuals and put it all together in an already-proven game concept.
If you're a fan of any of the social media personalities in Slide Stars then you'll have a great time sliding and flipping through its levels.
It’s a short-lived clunky game that is priced at a whopping 40 bucks. No way would I pay that for this game. This is an eight dollar experience at best. While it’s never broken, it is never something I found myself wanting to complete. In fact, I don’t see the proper audience for this at all. Obviously someone younger than me, but good luck getting a kid to play this one for longer than about 10 minutes.
Slide Stars on Xbox misunderstands everything that makes Trials HD great, producing a play-doh homage without any of the speed, trickery or finesse. Then it ushers in some moderately popular internet personalities, but doesn’t do them - or their audience - the service of including any of that personality.
