Hardcore Mecha is a 2D platformer action focusing on a better handling. The Campaign mode offers rich gameplay and seamless in-game cut-scenes for an immersive experience. Choose your favorite mecha in Multiplayer, experience the fast-paced hardcore competitive battle of steel.
Hardcore Mecha wonderfully pays homage to the Super Robot Wars series, and comes with cutscenes of high quality. Stages have been cleverly designed to prevent the game from becoming tedious, and the voluminous scenario and deep gameplay make it easy to get lost in Hardcore Mecha’s anime world. It’s too bad that with the exception of your character’s arch rival, other enemies don’t leave a lasting impression.
If you like mecha games, give this one a try. It has some flaws, but overall it’s one of the best 2D mecha games we’ve played this generation.
If you enjoy 2D action games then you owe it to yourself to try out Hardcore Mecha with its varied and supremely fun gameplay.
An interesting title that shines in both its single-player and multiplayer game modes, offering intense clashes between giant robots with a simple but effective combat system.
Hardcore Mecha is a title suspended halfway between the brawler and the platformer: it will certainly satisfy the lovers of big robots.
Technically and mechanically well constructed Mech action. The challenging campaign is definitely more entertaining than the multiplayer skirmishes.
It’s by no means easy, but as you progress and upgrade your mech, you’ll find it strikes a decent difficulty balance. If you’re up for a somewhat challenging game with a very anime-inspired look, then Hardcore Mecha might be just what you’re looking for.
