Slime Rancher is a charming first-person sandbox experience in the business of slime ranching. Play as Beatrix LeBeau, a plucky young rancher who sets out for a life on the ‘Far, Far Range,’ a thousand light years away from Earth.

A charming world that’s worth getting lost in, Slime Rancher places you in a brightly coloured sandbox and gives you the freedom to make your own way. There are many plates to spin and no real motivation to progress beyond your own curiosity, but this is a journey well worth exploring.
While gameplay isn’t super-deep, you’ll still find yourself returning to the slime ranch again and again. [Issue#155, p.90]
Slime Rancher is an enjoyable foray into virtual ranching, yet fails to provide enough meaningful depth beyond its adorable visual identity.
