The BETA period that will give you access to this Ghost Recon Wildlands key is February 3-6, 2017. Ghost Recon Wildlands is the name of the new action ubisoft title and this time the action will take place in the lush landscapes of Bolivia, totally controlled by drug cartels. We belong to the Ghost, an elite corp prepared to deal with all kinds of threats using stealth and the most lethal strategy.
Armed to the teeth and with the latest weapons technology, we'll must face this terrible threat and end all the drug cartels. Among the highlights of the title is that now this delivery has a huge map or open world in which we will can move freely, so vehicles will be of major importance, with hundreds of available missions, secrets and achievements unlockable of all types. Another feature will be the equipment that we will can carry, fully modifiable and even upgradeable to make it more lethal on the battlefield.
Remember that this key is only for the Ghost Recon Windlands BETA, and does not include the entire game, which must be purchased separately.
Ghost Recon Wildlands does not really innovate. However, it offers enjoyable tactical stealth gameplay set in an impressive, vast world, and provides a fun, memorable and rewarding experience in both co-op and solo playthroughs. Main missions are well-designed and offer great variety and challenge, and although the story is rather predictable, it has great presentation and ample amounts of information to support it. It is, in its core, a true Tom Clancy title and worthy successor to the Ghost Recon series.
Wildlands is a great mix-up of some of the best elements of Ubisoft's most prominent IPs, but struggles to find its own identity. Military-minded co-op fans will definitely want to check this out, while solo players can also expect up to 50 hours of open-world fun.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is equal parts new approach to a storied franchise and familiar and well-trod open world systems. While it doesn’t break a great deal of new ground for the genre, when played with friends this cooperative open-world game can be an amazing amount of fun. Those moments are tempered by technical mishaps and inconsistencies that can be patched, but as a result, this launch ride is going to have some technical potholes that put a damper on an otherwise excellent experience.
Many issues, like linear progression and limited AI, that I have with Wildlands are issues rooted to the ‘open-world’ genre, and therefore not worth holding against Ubisoft. Wildlands offers a tight finesse for a shooter, and is sure to be enjoyed by gamers; however, it does little to go beyond this.
Fun shooting and open world are great, but there aren’t many Ghost Recon elements and game simply feels dull at times.
Utilises the amazing PC technology of today to be, eh, okay. [Issue#261, p.68]
Proof that bad writing can ruin anything, Ghost Recon Wildlands feels like the death knell for a particular style of open-world game. Occasionally great moments, like the co-op play and the Sync Shot, are sadly drowned out.
