One-Punch Man fans have a lot to be excited about with this game and should definitely check it out! Even though the game is not centered around Saitama, it does closely follow the first few major story arcs in the manga, which makes this nerd very happy. The game is also simple enough for a young child to follow and enjoy (if the parent is okay with violence and chaos, that is). All in all, I give this game a 75 out of 100 for its easy to grasp combat system, endless player customization, and the beautiful visuals.

Bandai Namco and Spike Chunsoft have brought us the video game debut of One Punch Man. A much awaited title that will please the fans of the series, but not those who are looking for a good fighting game due to its great simplicity.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows on Xbox One delivers a flurry of hard-hitting punches, but misses with almost as many as it lands. The story-based goings on are in keeping with the anime, many recognisable characters feature and you just have to love the nonchalant Saitama. Even the fighting is a lot of fun thanks to the quirky events, ace killer moves and the arrivals, with a frantic feel to proceedings. However your hero is lacking in character, customisation options and just how powerless they feel at times.

Fans of the series might get a kick out of it, but there’s not enough decent meat on the game’s bones to warrant any long-term attention.

Being the titular One-Punch Man is fun, but the rest of A Hero Nobody Knows' repetitious fighting/action game hybrid is lackluster.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows looks like a lazy attempt to create a One Punch Man fighting game, with a repetitive filler-riddled structure and a problematic technical production. It's got its fair share of fanservice content and the Saitama management mechanic is interesting, but it feels too much as every other Bandai Namco anime fighting game.

It's difficult to recommend a game as bland as One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows to anyone; even hardcore fans of the manga. It definitely has its charms but underneath the surface, an incredibly hollow experience resides.
