Manage the economy by sharing resources between all of your cities across over 65 maps (including new landscapes and environments) throughout the ‘Cities Planet’: trade anything from waste management to oil, fuel, and water – even holidaymakers and workers. Finally, create, share and download user crafted content via the Steam Workshop – an endless supply of user-curated content. From scenic villages to economic powerhouses, build, manage, and grow the city of your dreams in Cities XXL.
A polished paste and copy of Cities XL. Interesting but not enough.
Despite its technical flaws, Cities XXL is a real extra-large city builder, fun and enjoyable, with a solid foundation built on the pillars of the genre, and notable additions to the building and managing elements of the gameplay.
It's the same game as Cities XL with very small differences. Selling it at almost full price is nothing but a rip-off.
Cities XXL is a unique and innovative city builder that is among the best, but there is not enough new features or content for returning players to justify buying.
Do you remember Cities XL from 2009? Or Cities XL 2011? Or Cities XL 2012? Or Cities XL Platinum? Cities XXL is the same game, just with a new price tag. [04/2015, p.65]
Cities XXL is Cities XL Platinum with some UI improvements. Cities XL Platinum was Cities XL with some UI improvements. Don't waste your money.
Cities XXL is almost identical to its predecessors, but despite the slight technical improvement, other parts remain the same or even worse. Hands off. [Issue#251]
