Pick from 170 characters: Heroes gather from the Samurai Warriors and Dynasty Warriors Universes. Assume the Power of the Gods: Enjoy brand new Musou action. Sacred treasures empowered by a miraculous power enable characters to evoke magic attacks.
The infamous one versus thousands battle action sees new additions.
WARRIORS OROCHI 4 is also available on XBox One, PS4 & Nintendo Switch.
A great offering in the tactical action genre with massive scale, excellent combat solid RPG offerings.
Offering up a huge selection of characters and content, Warriors Orochi 4 isn't bringing a lot of new ideas, but it is dishing out a very refined and welcoming minor evolution to the tried and tested Warriors formula.
If you can look past the little annoyances like grinding and the frame rate, then Warrior Orochi 4, coupled with fun gameplay and pretty looking environments, makes for a rather welcome instalment into the franchise.
Warriors Orochi 4 performed admirably well in our benchmark test, and it seems Koei Tecmo have learned from lessons past. The magic system and seamless transitions between attacks make for a freshly dynamic gameplay experience. However, as with all Warriors games, it can get repetitive after a while. The visuals and effects are beautiful, but a gigantic cast, lousy officer AI pathing, and tacked on mechanics make it bloated at the same time.
Strong mechanics, fun combat, and replay value are brought down by graphics and a convoluted story, yet you’ll still have fun mowing down scores of enemies.
